Appointments typically last between 45 to 90 minutes and can vary based on factors such as age, developmental stage, your preferences, and the patient's condition. Please be aware that if the complexity of your situation requires a longer intake, billing for additional time beyond 90 minutes will follow our
pricing model for 'asynchronous care’.
If the patient or the caregiver have a specific order preference, we can accommodate that. Otherwise…
For patients aged 10 and older, the practitioner usually begins by meeting with them first. Then, depending on your preference, we may bring in the caregiver or family member for the discussion, or the practitioner may speak with them separately while the patient takes a break. This order depends on what works best for you.
In situations where sensitive or upsetting topics need to be discussed, the practitioner may talk to the family member without the patient present to ensure a comfortable and supportive environment.
At the end of your appointment, your provider will discuss a treatment plan with you. This plan may include recommendations for methods and frequency of follow ups, laboratory tests, prescriptions, suggestions for supplements, therapy options, or a need for additional information from your side. We aim to tailor the treatment plan to best address your unique needs and concerns.
